Norton & Avast are two resource of the biggest names in the antivirus industry and their showdown for consumer dominance will definitely continue. The question is can they endure as a provider without one another? Well, I would declare it’s tricky but not unattainable. For starters, Avast has had longer to build their reputation & it seems like they are actually improving upon their consumer experience & product line yearly. They have a great customer service popularity which is at all times an attractive thing when it comes to a PC security tool.
The moment considering pricing equally products are similar in many respects. Avast has the less costly price with only a few exceptions such as no cost upgrades, nonetheless they lack the premium safety which Norton offers. However, Avast continues to be better than the majority of free anti virus programs when it comes to parental control and spam/malware protection but is a little more costly at times. Although these things may change in the near future I feel that Norton has the minor advantage in the long run because they’ve been around much longer & have more stable software.
In summary, this is a hard review to write down because both have excellent support and it is difficult to compare between the two since the two offer good parental control, excellent disease protection and extra features. I feel that it comes right down to what your needs are as being a computer end user and what features generate it good value for money to you. For instance , I believe that Avast has the advantage in terms of easy installation/uninstall and parental control. I would i believe recommend both equally products to any computer consumer who wants an exceptional virus, trojans removal and email coverage solution.
